Zanzibar Royal Frame

A large frame carved from solid mongongo in the Zanzibar style, made to hold a mirror and to stand as a work in its own right. Its dense carving gives a quiet, sculptural edge to a wall. Length 214 cm (inside 173 cm) · width 179.5 cm (inside 137 cm).
