The origin of a piece is stated only as the record states it.

Where the record gives a place, it is Tanzania or Zanzibar. Where the record gives a style, it is Makonde. A certificate of origin is available where the record supports it.

We do not add an origin because a neighbouring piece has one. Mongongo and ebony are unrelated woods. One piece uses one wood.
